Charming Gardeners will play Skyview's Ground Breaking!
That's right, folks. Local band, the Charming Gardeners are playing at the Skyview Harmony Garden Ground Breaking! They've played all the coolest joints in town and now they'll be live at our ground breaking festivities. So bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets and join your neighbors on Saturday, April 16th from 9:00-11:30am for live music with the Charming Gardeners, food trucks, gardening, market vendors and more! Food Trucks at the Harmony Garden Ground Breaking
The Skyview Harmony Garden Ground Breaking & Spring Fair is only a few short weeks away! We're excited to announce that we'll have two fabulous food trucks on site for the festivities: Rock & Roll Tacos and Bid D Kona Ice. So mark your calendars for Saturday, April 16th from 9:00-11:30am and come hungry!

Exciting Harmony Garden Progress
Thank you to the community partners and neighborhood volunteers that showed up this Saturday for our first community work party. Mulch was hauled, used tires were delivered and our metal tool shed was assembled! Thank you to Pickaperch Real Estate for providing yummy treats to our volunteers and to Curtis Scoggins for the on-site organizing of our community workforce. And a very special thank you to Ben Braly and Shane Bostick for staying well into the afternoon to assemble our metal tool shed. We are SO grateful for your above-and-beyond dedication to Skyview Elementary's school garden project.

Work Party POSTPONED One Week
Due to heavy rains and saturated ground, the Skyview Harmony Garden work party, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, March 12th, has been postponed by ONE WEEK. Instead of meeting this coming weekend, we will be meeting from 8am-noon on Saturday, March 19th. Thank you for your flexibility and feel free to sign up if you haven't already done so using the link below!

Spring Plant & Flower Sale
There are two ways to order: You can return your form and money (checks can be made out to Skyview PTA) to Robin Kelly in the front office at Skyview Elementary School before April 16th. Or you can order your flats in person at the Harmony Garden Ground Breaking on April 16th from 9:00-11:30am.
Your flower flats will be ready for pick-up on Saturday, April 23rd at 1:00pm at the Skyview Harmony Garden. Please send your questions to Sarah Greenman at skyviewgarden@gmail.com.
