Our outdoor musical instruments will be installed this summer. These instruments will fill the garden with harmonious sounds and provide an outside-of-the-box, sensory learning tool for our students. We're also excited about our gorgeous garden mural, which was created by our art teacher, Emily Ash, her 6th grade art students and the Skyview Art Club. The mural depicts children creating community through art, music and nature. The themes of equity, respect, community and reverence are highlighted in the mural. We can't wait for you to see the mural in person when you attend our ground breaking festivities next weekend! Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 16th from 9-11:30am.

Art & Music
When Skyview PTA first envisioned the Harmony Garden and outdoor learning environment, we pictured a space filled with art, music and nature. Of course, we wanted our outdoor classroom to be a dynamic tool for teachers to enhance the STEM curriculum, but we also wanted the garden to be a place of respite, contemplation, beauty and inspiration.
